Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) is
inviting applications for the right candidates in the GEPCO sub-regions, namely
Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, and Narowal, to fill
the following vacancies. / Payment basis. All standards such as Employee’s
Children and Minority etc. will be considered according to the Govt. policy.

1. Running - 800 meters in five minutes (05)
2. Push-Ups / Dund - 20 in one effort in 03
minutes
3. Weight lifting - 30 Kg in one effort
4. Digging - The trench length, depth, width
(2x2x2 meters)
5. Climbing Skills (Tower / Ladder) Climbing up
to 10 feet on the tower/ladder wearing safety equipment
6. String cords - width 100 meters

Terms
1. Applicants will apply as opposed to the
seats reserved for their place of residence and the regional reservations will be
reserved.
2. Normal annual leave has already been
included in the above-mentioned years. No annual leave is allowed except for
those who are eligible for election to organized castes and Buddhists are
allowed to rest for three years and civil servants who have completed two years
of ongoing government work on the closing date will be allowed to rest for a
further ten years.
3. Only eligible/qualified will be allowed to
appear for the Writing Test / Skills Test. Only selected nominees who fall
under the terms such as the provision of an applicable Employment Policy will
be called for a Physical Examination / Negotiation.
4. Candidates' interviews will be held at their
respective meetings by the Electoral Boards.
5. Selected nominees may be sent anywhere under
the authority of GEPCO as required by the Company.
6. The appointment of ALM will be done in
accordance with the procedures set by the Department / BOD GEPCO.
7. ALMs will be recruited/nominated,
initially, at a lump sum / payable equivalent equal to the initial payment
scales (BPS-05), for the first three (03) years extended for satisfactory
performance.
8. Original documents and one set of certified
copies must be submitted by the person to be recorded during the interview/joining service.
9. Civil service staff are advised to apply in
the prescribed manner. Applicants will be required to provide a departmental No
Objection Certificate (NOC) stating clearly the date of appointment and the
type of appointment i.e., always, Contract etc. during the interview process.
10. GEPCO reserves the right to reduce the
number of vacancies and to cancel the entire recruitment process in any
category without giving a reason.
11. No TA / DA will be paid for the Writing
Test / Skill Test / Physical Test / Interview.
12. Dismissed/vetted employees of any
organization or with a criminal record are not eligible for GEPCO employment.
Approval of the character and opposition of candidates to the agencies/police
will be enforced unless no candidate is elected.
13. Hiding or misrepresentation of facts at any
stage will result in disqualification of the candidate from the current
appointment and for all types of tests/tests to be conducted by GEPCO for
future employment.
14. Any filing of claims relating to employment
evaluations conducted by the M / S NTS will be considered by the M / S NTS
separately without any liability to GEPCO.
How to apply
1. Applicants are advised to apply directly on
the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk).
2. Applications will not be available from
GEPCO or the NTS.
3. A test fee of Rs.200 / - is required to be
submitted by the person who will be registered before the closing date for the
publication of this advertisement in the electronically paid challan made after
online registration.
Test fees will be paid to participating banks
at 1Link 1Bill / ATM / Internet Banking / Mobile Banking / Easypaisa / Jazz
Cash / TCS Express.
5. The Roll Number Slip will be uploaded to the
NTS website at least one week before the test date and baptism candidates will
be notified via SMS.
6. I roll No. A slip containing details of the
test site, time and dates of the test will be sent directly to M / S NTS
nominees at least one (01) week prior to the test at the given postal address
and mobile number provided to the candidates.
7. Only those registrants who have completed
their Matriculation certificate are eligible to apply. Those who will be given
the final result card or expected results will not be considered.
8. Baptism candidates are advised to contact
NTS 051-8444441 OR email to query@nts.org.pk for any questions/information
related to the Written Test / Skill Test, the provisional and final list of
candidates, roll numbers slips, Test centers, Results etc.
9. The Online Application Portal will be
removed from the website at 11:59:59 pm. closing date 06/10/20
